Welcome to Calvary Chapel Saving Grace Mesa. I would like to personally invite you to join us as we worship the Lord in song, His Word, and fellowshipping together. Calvary Chapel teaches the word of God systematically, verse by verse through the entire Bible. Come and join us as we seek the Lord together and celebrate the risen Savior, Jesus Christ
1 Peter 1:23 - 25
“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”
God challenges us to rethink the conventional wisdom that has been handed down to us all. When we receive Jesus as Savior and make Him the Lord of our lives there is a seemingly biological change that happens and the corruptible seed that we all inherited from Adam through out parents is transformed into incorruption. The book of Romans is clear in that“ There is none that is righteous, no not one,” and “ there is none that does good, no not one .” Paul is only quoting that which God declared to Israel through Isaiah. So your parents or loved ones can not nor could ever get you into heaven or make a right standing before God for you. Only the Word of God, that is Jesus, the Christ who lives and abides forever can give you that gift. For we will all die (if the Lord tarries) and that only thing that will remain is what we did with God’s only Son, Jesus? This is our legacy, not how much money we made and left behind, or monuments and other worldly achievements that we accomplish but what we do with Jesus. How we share His love, His grace, His goodness, His gospel—What have you done with Him today?
Blessings
